Oshkosh, WI (April 30, 2013). Ground Round is returning again in markets where the brand is known. Rich Batley and his entire team at RB Hospitality have expanded beyond their Ground Round and BEST WESTERN PREMIER Bridgewood Resort Hotel in Neenah WI to a new multi complex facility in Oshkosh WI, opening this week! This new business is located in downtown Oshkosh WI, on the waterfront, with the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh campus right nearby. Ground Round at River's Edge (the tagline refers to its downtown and waterfront location) is part of the newly renovated BEST WESTERN PREMIER Waterfront Hotel & Convention Center. RB Hospitality and its partners will operate the new hotel, City Convention Center, and Ground Round restaurant, which also feature a waterfront, 100 seat outdoor patio and bar, with boat slips and a boardwalk. The completion and re-opening of this downtown facility is the result of a combined effort between the City of Oshkosh, University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and RB Hospitality and its partners. "The Ground Round in Oshkosh is our 4th new location opened in the past seven months and one of six new Ground Rounds we expect to open in our 2013 year," states Jack Crawford, President & CEO of Ground Round Independent Owners Cooperative, LLC (Ground Round IOC). The Oshkosh Hotel, Convention Center and Ground Round will employ over 200 employees and have a significant impact on the entire Downtown Oshkosh market and University.
